Dr. Kon Chu is a professor in Neurology at Seoul National University Hospital. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine and completed a residency program in Department of Neurology at Seoul National University Hospital. He received his PhD for neuroscience from Seoul National University College of Medicine.
His research topics of interest are involving 1) adult stem cells and applications to neurological therapeutics, 2) microRNAs and development of new drugs, 3) modulation of epileptogenesis, 4) neuroprotection research, 5) dysautonomia, and 6) neuroinfection and autoimmune encephalitis.
He is currently a professor in Department of Neurology, Seoul National University, College of Medicine. In addition, he serves as an associate editor of the Journal of Alzheimer's disease and a fellow of American Neurological Association (FANA).
